New templates

I think it would be cool to create our own templates and import them into manialink designer or even share them.

yes ! But I can't store files on my ftp like that ! Don't want to store my password and login in MLD. I don't know a way to encrypt them in the exe file...
If you've create templates, please share them here, I will add them on my ftp.

If people make there own templates and share them here in lets say a MLD Market place and have an import template button button via url , All they would have to host is images and plenty of free imaging hosting places. Would this not work? Wouldn't then need you to add them to your ftp. Or am I talking rubbish? I never know, wife says I do lol

You can tell your wife it's not necessary rubbish ! It could be almost great, but the problem having many different hosts is that sometime the urls become no more valid. I mean : if someone hosts an image, for exemple, and share it only for a few time. This image won't show after this time on a manialink using it...

What about making a new ftp account only for templates, where everyone can add his, you chech them, and finally embed them?

I've got images being hosted at tinypic.com that have been there for a few years and still being hosted but I know what you mean. We dont want loads of manialinks out there made using MLD and no longer work.
